Welcome to Maddie & Ko! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of maddieandko.com and your purchase of our products. By placing an order or using our site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. About Our Products

Everything we sell is made to order. Products are handmade and customized, so slight variations in color, grain, texture, and placement are normal and part of the charm — they are not defects. Product photos are representative; your finished piece may vary slightly from what's shown on screen.

2. Custom Orders & Personalization

When you submit text for personalization, we print or engrave exactly what you provide. Please double-check all spelling, names, dates, and details before submitting — we are not responsible for errors in information you provide.

3. Your Designs & Artwork

If you submit a logo, image, or design for a custom order, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it. You are solely responsible for any claims arising from artwork you submit, and you agree to hold Maddie & Ko harmless from any claims that your submitted content infringes someone else's rights. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, including orders containing content we believe is infringing, offensive, or unlawful.

By submitting artwork, you grant us a limited license to use it solely to produce your order. You keep all rights to your designs. Designs created by Maddie & Ko remain our property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change at any time without notice. Payment is due in full at checkout (or in invoice for custom quotes) before production begins. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, including canceling orders placed at an obviously incorrect price; in that case you'll receive a full refund.

5. Production & Shipping

Because each piece is made to order, production times vary and any timelines we share are estimates, not guarantees. Once an order ships, it's in the carrier's hands — we are not responsible for carrier delays, but if a package arrives damaged or goes missing, contact us and we'll work with you to make it right.

6. Returns & Refunds

All sales are final due to the custom nature of our products. Please see our Return & Refund Policy for full details, including how we handle damaged, defective, or incorrect items.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maddie & Ko's total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Our Content

All content on this site — including our logo, designs, photos, and text — belongs to Maddie & Ko and may not be copied or used without our written permission.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page applies to your order at the time you place it.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
